Popular routes include Lost Dog Wash Trailhead, Gateway Loop Trail, and Pinnacle Peak Park, all offering stunning desert scenery and a great workout for you and your pup.
Off leash dog parks
Let your dog run free at Scottsdale's well maintained dog parks. Chaparral Dog Park is the most popular, spanning 3 acres with separate areas for large and small dogs. Horizon Dog Park and Vista del Camino Dog Park also offer shaded areas, water fountains, and plenty of room to play.

Is there a pet fee for bringing my dog?

Are there breed or size restrictions for pets?
We welcome most dog breeds and sizes at our pet friendly properties. However, some properties may have specific restrictions. We recommend contacting our team before booking to confirm your pet is welcome at your preferred property. We want to make sure both you and your furry friend have the best experience possible.
What pet amenities are provided at the properties?
Our pet friendly vacation rentals feature fenced backyards so your dog can roam safely, spacious outdoor areas, and easy to clean flooring. We recommend bringing your pet's food, bowls, bed, and any favorite toys. Some properties may have pet bowls available. Ask us when you book.
Can I bring more than one pet?

Absolutely. Scottsdale has several excellent dog parks within a short drive of all our properties. Chaparral Dog Park is the most popular, with separate areas for large and small dogs. Horizon Dog Park and Vista del Camino Dog Park are also nearby. All are free to use and well maintained.

Do I need to keep my dog on a leash at the properties?
Within the fenced backyard of your vacation rental, your dog can enjoy off leash freedom. When outside the property, on sidewalks, trails, and in public areas, Scottsdale requires dogs to be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. All hiking trails in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve also require leashes.
