Meet the founder
Local roots, professional execution
I'm Mark Macias. Born and raised in the Phoenix area, I've been managing vacation rentals in Scottsdale since 2005, well before Airbnb existed.
I started Veranza because I believe a great vacation rental company has to get two things right: give guests a stay worth coming back for, and care for each home like it's our own.
That's still what drives us. We've kept the company intentionally small: real operations, pricing, and guest care expertise, but hands on and accessible. You get the systems of a big company, with people who actually pick up the phone.

Peak season demand
January through April brings the highest occupancy in the Valley. Snowbirds, spring training fans and event travelers fill calendars months in advance. We price and position for it starting in the third quarter.
Year round appeal
Unlike mountain or beach markets, Scottsdale draws guests 12 months a year: golf season, fall festivals, holiday getaways, and summer travelers chasing pool weather at lower rates.
The guest profile
Our typical guest is a group of 4 to 8 adults, ages 30 to 55, booking 3 to 5 nights for a celebration, reunion, or a trip with friends. They expect a premium home, fast communication, and local recommendations.
